ASSOCIATE DEGREE

Requires a total of 60 credits of work. This degree is ideal if you have not completed any other college program and are only interested in an extremely focused area of study. You may bring in up to 30 credits toward this degree through transcripts from other schools or documented life experience decreasing your required courses to just 10.

BACHELORS DEGREE

Requires a total of 120 credits of work. This is the first level of higher education after high school and because of the substantial number of credits required tends to provide a broad-based foundation in several subjects. You may bring in up to 60 credits toward this degree through transcripts from other schools or documented life experience.

MASTERS DEGREE

Requires a total of 40 credits beyond a bachelor’s degree. Students enrolling in a Master program will need to submit an official transcript for their bachelor degree. If your undergraduate (i.e. bachelor) degree is in an area of Bible or ministry or is from a Christian school and included courses in Bible or ministry and you have additional transcript credits which are not part of your bachelor’s degree you will have the option of bringing in up to 10 credits toward your master’s degree through transcripts from other schools or documented life experience. If your undergraduate degree is in a field unrelated to spiritual knowledge all 40 credits must be earned from EIBC.

DOCTORS DEGREE

Most of the Doctoral degrees require the completion of 40 credits beyond the Master’s degree with the option of doing a doctoral dissertation for a portion of the credits. The following degrees require 60 credits beyond the Master’s degree including a mandatory doctoral dissertation: Doctor of Christian Philosophy Doctor of Divinity and Doctor of Theology. These credits may come from a combination of: 1) courses taken; 2) an original dissertation or ministry project; and 3) a practicum or internship experience. The student is expected to work together with the Dean in designing a program that will meet his desire for growth in the area(s) in which God has placed a passion in his heart.
